The acquisition positions both businesses for long-term growth by adding complementary skillsets and services that will add value to customers and further expand Renu’s turnkey service offering.
Based in Addison, TX, Unity Construction & Painting, Inc. was founded in 2003 and mainly serves multi-family apartment housing, commercial, and residential communities. They offer numerous self-performed focused services including painting, roofing, miscellaneous carpentry, pavement services & striping, brick and stucco, retaining walls, fencing, carport repairs and siding repairs. Unity’s core strength is exterior focused projects, which is 85% of its revenue. Renu will expand its exterior service offering, currently 15% of its portfolio, offering customers enhanced exterior turnkey services.
Unity’s interior service portfolio is approximately 15% of its revenue, so customers will benefit from Renu’s vast interior renovation and restoration service experience, which is approximately 85% of its revenue. Unity will also expand its geographic reach from its current 4 general contractor licensed states to Renu’s 37 licensed states and have access to Renu’s extensive customer base that stretches across the United States.
